Testimonial #110: More warranty issues

I was given a camera as a gift & also the extended service plan. Less than 2 months after getting the camera, it broke & they are trying to tell me that the receipt is not valid. Since it was not purchased by me, but I have the receipt AND service plan, AND the service plan is registered online to the same product, but they are telling me that I am not the owner of the product & cannot help me! They are trying to make me go through some ridiculous process - have the gift giver have the inconvenience of going back to one of their stores full of incompetents & fill out a release form & fax it to them & then they send me a new receipt via regular mail) to have ownership transferred from the gift giver to me & then maybe, just maybe they will consider servicing it! Geek Squad = MORON squad. I have never heard of something so absurd in my life. They are the most incompetent and stupid people I have ever dealt with (store, online & phone - I tried them all!). Their customer service is a joke and I would have an easier time returning this to an animal at the zoo than to these jokers.
