Testimonial #28: An ex-employee's crazed ramblings (unedited)

i am a former best buy employee from store 218 in amarillo tx. i have recently been terminated due to what the g. m. called "tardyness". and bieng late to a morning meeting. first off....the time clock(and this is verifiable to anyone who wishes to go and check themselves) is about 4 minutes fast. so guess what happens when you walk in "on time" to clock in? your late! thats what! i called in for various reason before i was tardy and was told all was fine but then at a later date ,was written up by the dept sup. in home theater for those dates ,regardless of the fact that i called in. he would check the records on me,without even asking ...past records without even asking why or looking to see why i was late...then wrote me up as if i just got there. thanks scott you jerk....nobody likes you anyway! once i was written up for bieng 2 f*%$ing minutes late...why!? because me and another employee were waiting outside for somebody to let us in.......i had no control of that so what was i told....."well then you need to get here about 15 to 20 minutes earlier then so somebidy can let you in."that s a direct quote to ! i lived 52 miles away ,and had a family to support and these people are playing with me like this?! 4 days before my termination .........i have two vehicles which i useD on and off to go to work in ...bothe of them broke down the night before i was to have two days off in a row(a rarity at thAt) so i called joe the sles mngr the night before i was to come into work to let him know what was going down....he said all was fine and not to worry......so on the morning i was to show up to work for this morning meeting...i had to get up at 4;30 a.m. to finish working on the car . i tried to call in at 6:00a.m. to work....no answer.....so what happened?THEY CLAIMED I WAS 7 MINUTES LATE. BOTTOM LINE IF THEY WANTED TO FIRE ME ...WHY THE HELL DID THEY ADD ALL THIS DOCUMENTATION B.S. TO MY WORK RECORD....I CANT EVEN GET UNEMPLOYMENT COMP....THANKS JENNIFER!...AND ALL THE APPS. I PUT IN SO FAR DURING INTERVIEWS.......WHEN I GET ASKED ABOUT B BY....OH HELL.....I CANT BELIEVE I WAS SO DEDICATED TO THAT CO. AND THEY JUST SCREWD' ME \OVER LIKE THAT FOR 8.03 AN HOUR .....AND A FAMILY TO SUPPORT ....JOE ....YOU LIED TO ME..AND AS YOU SAY...THAT WASNT TO COOL! SO HOW MANY PEOPLE DID THEY END UP FIRING THAT WEEK END? ABOUT 4 THAT I KNOW OF.....GOOD PEOPLE TO A! ( sorry 'bout the grammer n' fragments...etc but i am pissed!) i feel so betrayed by those who claimed to be family ....ha! the g.m. was wrong i don't know why he let me go in this way . everybody in the store knew before i did that i was going to be terminated just as they knew before i did that i was going to get transfered to car fi from home theater.......what does that say ?....it say? ..... thaT THERE ARE TO DAMN MANY CLIQUES AT BEST BUY 218. AND OH YEAH....I WAS EVEN WRITTEN UP(A FIRST AND FINAL AT ONCE ) FOR WRITTING TO A TV STATION, GIVING MY OPINION ON PSP'S...FROM MY HOME PC. TO AN EDITORIAL COMMENT PAGE( I DIDNT EVEN GIVE MY NAME OR PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT) ....WAS THAT EVEN LEGAL? HELL NO! OH WELL . ITS OVER BUT I FEEL SO BETRAYED AND AT THE SAME TIME RELIEVED. THANKS FOR LETTING ME LET OFF STEAM..ITS JUST AS WELL...I CAN TELL ALL OF YOU WITH CERTAINTY THAT BEST BUY HAS LOST THIER WAY..........I USED TO SELL PRODUCTS TO THE CONSUMER WHEN I STARTED THIER ,NOW ITS ALL ABOUT THE NUMBERS AND PSP PRP ISP,AND ACCSYS ....MAN I WAS SO ASHAMED , HYPOCRESY RULES AT BEST BUY ......NOW IM FREE AT LAST! YA HOO!
