Testimonial #34: Another great deal you can't buy

I never had a problem with best buy until 2 days ago...

In one of the best buy circulars, they offered a Mintek Portable DVD Player with 7" TFT Display for $179.99 which is actually a really good deal, and at the bottom of the page in small print, it said, "price may vary by store". so i went to the best buy in west paterson, NJ and they only had the 5" portable dvd player which was like $270! of course when i asked a salesperson, i got the runaround and after showing him the circular that i had in my hand, he said that they NEVER carry the 7" player in the store and you can only buy those online...why would they advertise that in the paper if they don't even offer it in the store??? it didnt say only available online. hmm, seems like i was suckered into going to the store. and, mysteriously, their website was not taking online orders for a couple of days, for whatever reason, so it all seemed very fishy to me.

Needless to say, that is the last time i TRY to buy something from them.
