Testimonial #87: Loss Prevention goes out the door

I worked at a best buy for 7 months doing Loss Prevention. Well one day I walked 10ft away from the door to help a customer with a question and to inform him to come back on another day when the product would be in. When i turned my back on the exit another guy ran through the doors with a monitor.

Since BestBuy has the sweet ass rules where you can't follow after thiefs what was i suppose to do? So the next day the shitty manager (wont say any names....James E.) Told me that he couldnt afford to have mistakes like me and asked me what he should do. I told him are you going to fire me and he replied with "Do you want to be fired" So i told him I quit and he was a dick.
