Testimonial #92: No bonuses for you!

Recently Best Buy decided to make a few changes to their management and supervisor structure. With this they demoted 80% of their sales supervisors and took away their bonuses and expected the employees to have the same amount of responsibility at less pay. They promote people who have no right being in a position to make a decision, I will not mention their names but the GM's at Inver Grove Heights, Northtown and Coon Rapids. I would bet money that if you asked each one what 2+2 is they would have to call someone else to clarify what the hell you were talking about. I even love the quotes "Why go to college, you work for Best Buy" I have heard so many managers and supervisors say that to high schoolers that it makes me want to puke. Don't get me wrong, I met a lot of cool people at best buy, but that company needs to stop watching the way Wal-Mart does things and fix their management selection. There is no reward for working your ass of for a few years and then someone that played a professional sport coming in and not knowing a thing, ad he is your boss. Oh yeah, he gave up playing professional sports he says to work at Best Buy because it is a better opportunity.
